NANSA general membership is open to all members of the University of Toronto community — including current students, faculty, staff, and alumni. No matter where you are in your journey, there's a place for you here.
You can sign up for general membership through our membership form linked on this website. The process is quick and straightforward — just fill in your details and you're in!
General membership is free. However, some events or programs may have a fee, and members often receive discounted pricing.
Not at all! NANSA welcomes students from all programs and experience levels. Whether you're just curious about the brain or already conducting neuroscience research, you are welcome here.
Members receive access to exclusive events, mentorship programs, newsletters with opportunities, early registration for popular events, and networking opportunities with professionals in neuroscience.

Beyond general membership, you can volunteer to help with events, or apply for an executive position. We're always looking for passionate people to help grow the organization.
Executive recruitment typically takes place once a year. Follow our social media and check the website for announcements when positions become available.
NANSA offers a variety of executive roles focused on leadership, event planning, outreach, mentorship, communications, fundraising, and organizational management. Specific positions and openings may vary each year.

NANSA hosts a wide range of events including research seminars, career panels, industry networking nights, professional development workshops, and community fundraising campaigns for neurological disease charities.
